Singapore Airlines was last night named 2013 International Airline of the Year in the annual Roy Morgan Research Customer Satisfaction Awards.

Recognised as the Best International Airline for customer satisfaction a total of 10 months out of the year, Singapore Airlines outperformed all other major international airlines serving Australia to take the top award for the second year running.

Singapore Airlines Senior Manager Marketing and Alliances Australia, Dale Woodhouse, who accepted the award on behalf of the Company said, “We are thrilled to be recognised with this award by our customers for the second year running. Today’s travellers may be spoilt for choice; however Australian customers still value impeccable service and comfort.

“This award recognises the unwavering care and commitment of our staff, who continue to be the epitome of warmth and hospitality.”

Singapore Airlines continually strives to improve the customer experience. In recent months, Singapore Airlines launched its new-concept SilverKris Lounge in Sydney – part of a multi-million dollar investment programme to upgrade all of the Airline’s airport lounges around the world – and introduced the next generation of cabin products across all classes of travel.

Singapore Airlines remains the world’s most awarded airline.
