RECENTLY relaunched wholesaler, Singapore Airlines Holidays, has introduced their Maldives brochure for 2014/15 detailing a range of holiday options for romance, family escapes and ultimate luxury with convenient connections to Male’ with the airline’s 119 flights a week from Australia.

WWT SIA Maldives 14-15_FINAL COPY.pdfIt is the company’s second brochure release for the year, following the comprehensive Asia brochure introduced to the market in April. The stand-alone Maldives brochure was created due to company’s extensive knowledge of the country and their long standing relationships with many resorts and hotels along with their ability to provide the Australian leisure traveller all-inclusive packages with flights, accommodation and transfers in one transparent price.

Singapore Airlines Holidays commercial manager James Hewlett says that although historically the Maldives is recognised for honeymooners, the company believes there are aspects to this breathtaking destination that the Australian market are far less aware of, such as the surfing and diving opportunities together with child-friendly resorts.

He adds, “Our brochure is a guide for agents to match the customer to the right resort. Knowing which resort to recommend is a real skill and we have produced a brochure containing 24 properties to aid agents in matching clients to the right destination. We see potential in offering five-night packages to include flights accommodation and various meal options with customers able to add extra nights and stopover options in Singapore from only $47 per person twin share”.

There are three main styles of holiday options available in the brochure featuring a variety of properties and resorts; Romantic Retreats, Rejuvenate in Luxury, Family Contentment as well as stopover options in Singapore. The gateways from Australia operated by Singapore Airlines provide the most convenient connections to Malé for Australians.

An example is the five night package at the Kurumba Maldives priced from $2236 per person twin, including return international airfares, accommodation with daily breakfast and dinner and return speedboat transfers from Ibrahim Nasir International Airport.

For the ultimate in personal service, the Naladhu Maldives is perfect for families where villas and houses have their own house master (similar to personal butler) who can tend to your personal needs. Priced from $5414 per person twin share, it includes five nights accommodation with daily breakfast and dinner, return international airfares and transfers. There are also discounted rates for children under 11-years of age.

Brochures are currently being distributed by TIFS, for a copy please contact your local BDM.
