November 7, 2017 Headline News No Comments Email Email

Singapore Airlines is the latest airline to join STA Travel’s BlueTicket alliance, which the travel company promotes as the world’s largest airline network for students and under 31s.

STA Travel says more than 60 airlines are now involved and the latest global partnership with SIA will give STA Travel customers in more than 50 countries access to exclusive deals on Singapore Airlines flights.

The agreement covers sector-based airfare products that can be mixed and matched to suit the different needs of young travellers.

“Our BlueTickets have been flying the young and studious around the planet on the lowest and most flexible fares for over 35 years,” STA Travel commercial director John McCoach said.

“Singapore Airlines is a world-class airline with a global reach and fantastic reputation for service and safety; there’s no doubt young travellers will make the most of these great value, exclusive airfares.”

While the fares are restricted to travellers aged under 31, STA Travel says on its website it has “an open-to-all version of many of our BlueTickets, all offering the same unique freedom and flexibility”.

In business since 1979, STA Travel describes itself as the world’s largest student and youth travel company, with over 250 stores, franchises and partnerships in over 50 countries worldwide.
