The Singapore Tourism Board has launched the Singapore Celebrity Concierge – a first-of-its-kind VIP travel service, which invites Australians to have their next holiday to Singapore masterminded by some of Australia’s most-loved personalities.

This April, the following panel of Singapore celebrity fans will slip on their headsets to partake in one-on-one Skype consultations. They include:

  • Chef Tetsuya Wakuda, who chose to open his second restaurant Waku Ghin in Singapore, describing the city as his “home away from home”
  • Author and mum to six children Antonia Kidman, who moved to the Lion City in 2010 with her family
  • TV presenter and lifelong explorer Tom Williams, who will be co-presenting an upcoming TV special on Channel 7 in April.  Singapore Concierges
  • MasterChef 2012 finalist Audra Morrice, who was born in Singapore to a Chinese mother and Indian father, which has heavily influenced her cooking style

With their passionate insider knowledge which spans across food, culture, family, history, shopping and the great outdoors, Australians can now be better equipped to get off the beaten track to discover the island city’s hidden secrets.

For a chance to speak to these famous consultants, consumers can register for a Skype

appointment at before Friday 25th April.  For those who can’t wait, each of the Singapore Concierges has also provided a list of their top 10 favourite Singapore places and experiences to unearth.

Sharon Lam, Area Director Oceania for Singapore Tourism Board commented: “We find that many Australians think they can tick Singapore off their bucket list once they have enjoyed a Singapore Sling at Raffles Hotel, Chilli Crab or a shopping adventure down Orchard Road.  The reality is that whether you are staying for a few hours or a few days, there is really so much more you can discover!

“Through the Singapore Celebrity Concierge, we want to inspire Aussies to discover the aspects of our city that locals love but visitors can too. All of our Celebrity Concierges are making recommendations from their own personal interests, and we hope this will excite and encourage more Aussies to visit our shores to try these out themselves.”

To register or for more information on the Singapore Celebrity Concierge, please visit: before Friday 25th April.
