Sinclair Communications will continue to champion the YourSingapore brand, highlighting Singapore as a must-visit destination offering a concentration of unique and enriching experiences. The agency will be responsible for STB’s public relations and social media activation for the Hong Kong and Macau markets.

STB’s decision to appoint Sinclair Communications highlights the merits and relevance of the new proposed plan with which the team of PR professionals intends to build upon the strong traction gained over the past 3 years.

The account will continue to be led by Associate Director Kevin Lam and Account Manager Candice Leung. Award winning campaigns have included “Singapore Food Guide” – an insider’s guide to the hidden gems of some of Singapore’s most authentic hawker fare tailor-made for Hong Kongers, the first official “Map of Singapore Heritage Landmarks” which encouraged discerning Hong Kong travellers to discover stimulating, in-depth and culturally rich landmarks, and in 2015, Singapore’s 50th anniversary celebration SG50 was celebrated in Hong Kong with the consumer event “Singapore Weekend” which saw over half million Hong Kongers participate.

The partnership resulted in recognition in the form of Gold at the PR Awards 2014: Best PR-led Integrated Communications, and Silver at the prestigious Marketing Excellence Awards 2014: Excellence in Public Relations.

Managing Director of Sinclair Communications, Kiri Sinclair said, “We are delighted to be reappointed as Singapore Tourism Board’s PR agency for Hong Kong and Macau. We look forward to working with the fantastic team at Singapore Tourism Board and continuing to champion Singapore as a must-visit destination for Hong Kongers with a truly exceptional and diverse range of unique and rewarding offerings”.
