Skal International Orlando Uses Technology to Take Club Communication to The Next Level

May 17, 2017 Association No Comments Email Email

The second largest Skal Club in the U.S. and among the top 10 world-wide, Skal International Orlando has had to reinvent the way it communicates and engages with its growing membership in an organization that brings together sectors of the travel and tourism industry while networking, conducting business and helping communities locally, nationally and internationally.

Not only does the group of Orlando-based travel, tourism and hospitality executives manage a dedicated website and online press room with ongoing information on monthly meetings, goals and initiatives, but also a quarterly e-newsletter with Skal Orlando updates. And it doesn’t stop there. The newest communications tools added include a dedicated Facebook page and Skal Orlando’s very own app which makes it easy and efficient to receive news and connect with Skal USA and Skal International.

“Our members are really social media and technology savvy and enjoy using these methods to communicate with one another, stay on top of our Skal news, and show to prospective new members,” explained Skal Orlando President Mark Reid. “They have become very efficient ways to produce loyal members who remain active and also rise to leadership roles within our organization.”
