Skydive Australia, part of Experience Co, the country’s leading adventure tourism company (ASX:EXP) has launched arguably the best skydiving experience in the country at Whitehaven Beach in the Whitsunday Islands region of Queensland.
Tandem jumpers will experience the ultimate thrill, freefalling up to 220 kilometres per hour from a height of 14 thousand feet.
“When it comes to a skydiving experience in Australia, this is the ultimate,” said Far North Queensland General Manager Steve O’Malley.
“There’s no other place like this in Australia or on the planet. Whitehaven Beach is regularly voted one of the best beaches in the world.
“Customers of this new experience will be able to take in the breathtaking views of the islands, then land on the pristine white sands of Whitehaven Beach.
“We then take them back to shore on a specialised cruise vessel to Airlie Beach.”
Mr O’Malley said customers would board the aircraft on the last load of the day at Airlie Airport around 1530 and then arrive back in Airlie at 1730.
The experience includes Handicam video and a once in a lifetime photos package and will initially be available every Wednesday.
