Students have done their homework on the best ways to experience Schoolies and the consensus of the class is that booking early is by far the smartest move.

Gotta love the Goldie!

The event’s original and number one Schoolies provider, schoolies.com, has commenced pre-selling rooms for 2017 ahead of the official April 11 launch, and has been met with a flood of enquiry from year elevens eager to secure  their spots for their big celebration in around 20 months’ time with many of the popular room types already sold out.

CEO for schoolies.com, Matt Lloyd, said with a $100 deposit being all that was required to secure bookings for most Schoolies destinations, great Schoolies only events and exclusive safety measures for customers, the best rooms in the best locations were traditionally snapped up quickly.

“In our 28 plus years as the market leader in booking Schoolies holidays, we have noticed that kids are more primed than ever to lock in their end of year holidays sooner rather than later.

“With the event growing in popularity each year, Schoolies have become aware that for the best rooms, close to the beach and the main entertainment activities they need to get in early to avoid disappointment,’’ Mr Lloyd said.

“We are expecting a huge rush of year 11 students getting their 2017 Schoolies holidays locked in to get their resort of choice. All the best rooms sold out in a matter of days last year and this year looks like being no different.”

The traditional home of Schoolies, Surfers Paradise, will once again be in enormous demand while other destinations including Airlie Beach, Lorne, Byron Bay and Bali were also likely to fill quickly according to schoolies.com.

Schoolies.com has 2017 Schoolies holidays from just $375* per person for seven nights with all bookings including exclusive bonuses such as comprehensive security and schoolies.com properties, 24 hour helpline for parents and students, official schoolies.com photo ID, access to exclusive supervised parties and more.

Specialist schoolies.com events such as the all age music festival in week two of the event, Schoolies Nation, are providing a major incentive for young holidaymakers.

Around 30,000 school leavers attend Schoolies each year spending, on average, $1600 each comprising approximately $600 for accommodation and $1000 for entertainment, food and other items.

Schoolies.com itself contributes over $1.6 million annually on additional security patrols, 24 hour helpline for students, parents and property managers, exclusive Schoolies only events and more.
