Sofitel Mumbai BKC appoints Mr. Rajeev Upadhyay as their new Pastry Chef

Sofitel Luxury Hotels, the luxury brand of the Accor Group has announced that Mr. Rajeev Upadhyay has been appointed as Pastry Chef of their flagship property in India, Sofitel Mumbai BKC.

Appointment Release_Rajeev Upadhyay_Pastry Chef_Sofitel Mumbai BKCRajeev brings to Sofitel, 13 years of experience in the hospitality industry and will be responsible for overseeing the Bakery, Pastry and Confectionary section of the entire hotel.

Chef Rajeev, will also play a vital role in promoting the Parisian Café, Artisan. Artisan at Sofitel Mumbai BKC is an Epicerie, Patisserie and Chocolaterie for those who are looking for an informal French Meal amidst charming French interiors. Artisan will launch a new range of signature pastries crafted under Chef Rajeev’s guidance offering an enhancement to the gastronomically experience of this unique venue.

Starting his career at the The Oberoi’s Bangalore, Rajeev moved abroad for international exposure. His last assignment was with Alila Diwa, Goa as Executive Sous Chef before moving to his new role as Pastry Chef at Sofitel Mumbai BKC.
