Sofitel’s Newest Luxury Hotel Opens In Singapore

Sofitel today opened the doors of its second property in Singapore, Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa. Located in one of Asia’s most renowned leisure destinations, Sentosa, the Sofitel’s design reflects a bold and elegant style that cleverly integrates the surrounding nature within the hotel’s various buildings, with exacting attention to detail that brings Sofitel’s art de vivre to life.

With 211 rooms and suites, plus four villas, the hotel also features the world’s largest So SPA, four F&B options, over 1,300 sqm of MICE facilities, a 33-metre swimming pool and more than 27 acres of tropical woodlands, offering guests a sense of relaxed sophistication and urban resort living. As the only hotel at Sentosa that overlooks the South China Sea, the resort also offers easy access to Tanjong Beach.

Dining in Paradise

Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa offers some of the finest dining options in the Lion City. Kwee Zeen is a casual, yet upscale all-day dining restaurant with open kitchen counters that creates an innovative dining experience for unforgettable memories. Serving a wide selection of Asian, Western and French cuisines, guests can indulge in the best gourmet dining while enjoying spectacular views of the sparkling sea and landscaped gardens, along with fresh, cooling sea breezes.

To celebrate the opening of the hotel, Kwee Zeen has launched its Magnifique Sunday Champagne Brunch, offering a wide range of fine quality dishes paired with premium Taittinger Champagne. Select from 16 different ateliers ranging from Live Seafood, Gallery of Foie Gras, Fromage & Charcuteries,

Tandoor & Chinese, and a sumptuous dessert trolley, plus handcrafted truffles from the Chocolaterie. Diners will be also delighted by the especially flown-in lobsters from Boston, Alaskan king crabs, sea urchin, caviar and fresh oysters.

The Magnifique Sunday Champagne Brunch is available on Sundays from 12.30pm to 3.30pm from SGD 58 ++ to SGD 168 ++.

Meeting in Paradise

The newly revamped Conference Centre is designed to merge with the natural elements surrounding the venue. Boasting two ballrooms, 15 meeting rooms, outdoor verandas and a bridal suite, the pillar-less meeting rooms allow natural light to illuminate the space and stretches out to the outdoor lawn, making it an ideal venue for corporate brainstorming sessions, team building, leadership training, cocktail receptions or wedding solemnisations.

In addition, the hotel is collaborating with DirectStreams, a long-standing technology partner of Sofitel, to offer the latest fully-connected innovative lifestyle technology through DirectStreams’ LG Smart TV Guest solution, allowing guests the best technology experience to meet the needs of a diverse audience, from young tech-savvy and business travellers, to leisure and resort vacationers.

Relaxation in Paradise

The world’s largest So SPA is highly regarded by the industry as setting the definitive standards for world-class spa experiences. It has already won major awards such as Best Luxury Resort Spa 2015 by World Luxury Spa Awards, Best Luxurious Facial by Singapore Women’s Weekly, as well as Style’s Best Beauty Treats 2015.

With 20 treatment rooms, a Jacuzzi section, and a dedicated females-only area, the spa offers rejuvenation, refreshment and renewal through its wide range of treatments. Available only in Singapore, one of the key features of So SPA is the Mud Pool, where guests can purify and renew their skin with New Zealand volcanic mud, rich in mineral content, giving a dewy and lustrous glow to even the driest of skins. Adjacent to So SPA is The Garden restaurant for wellness-conscious guests to enjoy a healthy meal.

Guests can also take their health regime to the next level, with the state-of-the-art fitness centre and expert trainers onsite. A special ‘Mini GlamFit Experience’ (SGD 240 ++) which features a 60-minute personal training session followed by a 30-minute massage to release tension, is available from now till December 31, 2015.
