Over the next five days, Sunrise and South African Tourism, will take viewers on a journey across South Africa. Carefully mapped out, the broadcast has been tailored to showcase the country’s diversity as a holiday destination.

Those who tune in will be able to experience a bike tour in Soweto, including a visit to Nelson Mandela’s house, a safari adventure at Makutsi Safari Springs, the Neighbourgoods Market in Johannesburg and Table Mountain to name a few.

South African Tourism’s Hub Head for Australasia, Mosilo Sofonia said: “We’re so excited to be able to work with Sunrise on this opportunity. Over the course of the week, viewers will be able to take in some of the best experiences that South Africa has to offer.

“From the culture of Johannesburg and bustling nightlife of Cape Town to unforgettable safari adventures and spectacular Table Mountain we hope it encourages even more Aussies to consider the Rainbow Nation as their next holiday destination.”

To celebrate the partnership, Aussies will be able to replicate Sam Mac and the Sunrise team’s journey through South Africa by taking advantage of a remarkable deal courtesy of Bench Africa.
