This epic adventure begins in Buenos Aires, with 2 nights at Alvear Art Hotel, right in the heart of the city. Immerse yourself in the Argentinian capital, with its rich cultural history, museums, shopping and restaurant scene, and take in a half day tour of the city, plus dinner and a tango show at famed La Ventana restaurant.
On 5 January depart from Buenos Aires onboard luxurious cruise ship, Quest, for an overnight journey to Montevideo in Uruguay. Spend the day exploring Old Town (starting from Plaza Independencia) or strolling La Rambla. While visiting, be sure to try a parrillada—a local speciality of perfectly grilled meat and seafood.
Next, enjoy 3 days of pampering aboard your boutique hotel at sea before arriving in Ushuaia—a hub of outdoor adventure surrounded by waterfalls and glaciers at the southern-most tip of Argentina. From here, spend 3 incredible days cruising the breathtaking Antarctic Sound. Your voyage concludes back in Buenos Aires on 22 January 2021 where you will disembark for your onward flight to Brazil’s Iguazu Falls, spending the next 3 nights at the stunning Belmond Hotel Das Cataratas – the only hotel within Iguazu National Park. Visit the breathtaking Falls at dawn and the Bird Park with its colourful and exotic inhabitants, take half-day tours on each of the Brazilian and Argentinian sides of Iguazu, gather around a campfire at dusk and take part in an authentic welcome ritual with indigenous Guarani-Mbya, or simply indulge in a little ‘me time’ relaxing beside the hotel’s stunning pool, before boarding your flight home to Australia on 23 January 2021.
