Agents in Sydney and Canberra interested in updating on key destinations in the South Pacific should keep August 2 and 3 clear. Participants at the events will include the Cook Islands; New Caledonia; Norfolk Island; Papua New Guinea; Samoa; Solomon Islands; Tahiti; Vanuatu and the lesser known treasures of Kiribati, Nauru; Marshall Islands; Palau; Federated States of Micronesia; Tonga; Tuvalu; American Samoa; and Niue. Prizes will include a seven night trip to one of the destinations. President of Treasures of the South Pacific, Kerryn Cook, said the events provide a valuable opportunity for destination representatives to catch-up with agents face to face and provide them with a deeper understanding of the differences and standout qualities of each destination. RSVP by 19 July, 2016 via www.tosp.com.au.
The roadshow will move to Queensland in October with events scheduled in Brisbane on 11 October, 2016 and Sunshine Coast on 12 October, 2016. Agents can also sign up and complete the South Pacific Tourism Organisation online training platform to become a South Pacific Specialist at http://southpacificspecialist.org.
