Southeast Asia’ Indochina attracting more luxury travelers
Indochina has been attracting more interest from travellers, according to a luxury travel industry expert.
The area, which mainly comprises the countries of Cambodia, Vietnam and Laos, is proving popular among holidaymakers who have already visited more established countries in the region, said David Nguyen, a luxury travel specialist.
David revealed that more flights to Indochina make travels easier and more accessible, plus the presence of well-known brands is also having a beneficial effect in the region.
‘There are a lot of travelers who have already visited Thailand and are now looking to discover more of Southeast Asian countries such as Mynamar and Indochina is a part of the world that appeals,’ he said.
‘New eco-luxury resorts by brands such as Six Senses are also opening up, making the destination appeal to those looking for relaxation and culture.’
David recommended that travellers planning to see Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos give themselves about three weeks of holiday time to experience the countries.
