The highly competitive CANSTAR Awards compared over 229 domestic and international travel insurance products, from 73 institutions, looking into 13,950 quotes.
SCTI stood out for its highly competitive premiums, the ability to claim online, and benefits including up to $30,000 travel delay, unlimited cover for overseas medical and dental, and rental vehicle excess of $5,000 per journey.
Just to be eligible for the Awards, providers had to meet minimum requirements, such as having a 24-hour helpline, the ability to extend cover while travelling, and $10 million plus family overseas medical and hospital cover internationally.
