Spa Voyages, Poolside Pampering And ‘Sorbet For The Soul’: The Nai Harn Unveils Refreshing New Spa Concept
THE NAI HARN has launched its new spa concept, offering guests a mix of bespoke pampering that combines state of the art therapies with the most sort after indulgences in its Beach Spa Suites.
Or enjoy spa happy hour anytime with light, refreshing wellness ‘pick me ups’ via the poolside Spa Cabana.
NAI HARN Spa experiences are grouped into three themes: LOOK GOOD, FEEL GREAT and STAY WELL, with treatments inspired by the Andaman region, leavened with a touch of Hamptons glamour and style. The resort ensures each guest receives the best results by tailoring treatments to individual needs – a successful formula based on how you feel inside and outside.
NAI HARN Spa features four contemporary Beach Spa Suites and the Spa Cabana – very different experiences but founded on a philosophy of results-based wellness that works, served up in an ambiance that dispenses with Asian spa cliches in favour of ‘light, fresh and flirty’ design.
Guests will enjoy design that refreshes without becoming cloying; sorbet colours set against a crisp white canvas; think playful tones of fresh lime green or aquamarine framing natural white-washed timbers with a touch of Thai twist to create a uniquely warm, coastal charm.
Cool fabrics such as raw linen and pure crisp cotton, natural recycled wood, and collections of curios and nostalgic holiday mementos conjure thoughts of beachside escapes past, present and future, and treasured memories with loved ones, family and friends.
NAI HARN Spa treatments can be personalised into half -day ‘spa voyages’, with expert therapists assisting guests to choose the right selection of treatments that best meets their wants and needs.
LOOK GOOD treatments include ‘Pure Lift FaceFit Workout’, a toning and firming facial that gives your face muscles a proper workout, while ‘Bronzilliance’, natural, organic and paraben-free spray tan applied seamlessly by our experts to leave your skin with a natural golden glow.
FEEL GREAT includes Skin Savior, a blanket of fresh aloe vera and virgin coconut oil followed by a vitamin C-infused moisturiser to turn the skin clock back; Salted Coconut Peel – an exfoliation treatment of sea salt and freshly grated coconut followed by an extravagant soak in a bath of pure coconut milk or rejuvenating spa shower; Coffee Rush – a creamy coffee scrub for dry and flaky skin; and Cacao Grub – sea salt and brown sugar granules for exfoliation, raw cacao and coconut oil for nourishment.
STAY WELL, signature massages inspired by sea, breeze sun and earth include Easy Breezy – gentle strokes soft as the breeze caress your skin while airbrushes glide over the contours of your body and face to encourage lymphatic flow and circulation; Pearlie Shells – Heated shells work to completely loosen knots of tensed muscles; and All Bundled Up – herb-filled heated bundles for your choice of soothing and calming, healing and relieving aches, and energizing and revitalizing.
Spa Cabana delivers results-driven treatments that are easily accessible to guests who need a quick fix by the pool – the embodiment of NAI HARN Spa’s laid-back approach to wellness, with all treatments taking an hour or less.
The Lifestyle Cabana is a stylishly curated retail space offering earth friendly, coastal-inspired mementos, resortwear, jewellery and an eclectic mix of home décor pieces.
THE NAI HARN’s General Manager Frank Grassmann said he was very happy with the new spa concept and expected guests to love it.
“Spa and wellness… the whole point is to relax you and make you look and feel great,” he said. “We have created an ambiance of relaxation and refreshment that feels quite unique and does away with all the tired Asian tropical spa clichés”.
“Not everyone wants to spend all day in the spa, which is where the ‘wellness bites’ at the Spa Cabana come in. But of course you certainly can spend all day in the spa if that’s what you desire, and the Beach Spa Suites offer a range of results-based treatments put together with a spirit of fun and joie de vivre but firmly grounded in traditional wisdom and the latest techniques and technologies.”
Originally launched in 1986 and previously known as the Royal Phuket Yacht Club, THE NAI HARN underwent an 18-month top-to-bottom remodeling to restore the legendary resort to the pinnacle of luxury resort hospitality.
