Port Stephens accommodation, Marty’s at Little Beach, is inviting stressed Australians on the workaholic freeway to take a winter break and head to the ‘Humpback Highway’ in Port Stephens to see some of the record 20,000 whales expected to cruise along the coast this year.

To mark the great migration off Port Stephens – one of the best places to in Australia to see the frolicking whales close to shore – Marty’s at Little Beach has released a special whale watch package including a night’s accommodation, two tickets on a whale watch cruise with Imagine Cruises, a free hot beverage aboard the boat and a bonus gift, with guests able to choose from binoculars to see the majestic mammals up close, a free woollen beanie or a scarf to use on the cruise.

Nature lovers can choose from either a leisurely, three-hour whale watch cruise aboard the catamaran, Imagine, or a quicker, 90-minute trip aboard Imagine Cruises’ fast cat, Envision.
The package is available between May 19 and August 31, 2017, from $206 per couple midweek (Sunday-Thursday) and $216 on weekends (Friday-Saturday). Conditions apply.
Nestled between the sheltered stretches of sand at Shoal Bay Beach and Little Beach, Marty’s at Little Beach offers studios and self-contained apartments with balconies, a heated swimming pool, free wi-fi and Foxtel and an undercover, poolside barbecue.

As one of Australia’s premier whale-watching venues and situated 2½ hours north of Sydney, Port Stephens and its marine park sit right next to the migration path of the humpback whales and draws large numbers of whale-seeking visitors each winter.
