Spencer Travel Extends Agreement With Technology Provider Sabre To Scale SME And Retail Business Model

Sabre Corporation (NASDAQ: SABR), the leading technology provider to the global travel industry is extending its agreement with Spencer Travel to help the Australian travel specialist scale its small to medium-sized enterprise (SME) and retail business model.


“Sabre has strengthened our operations to the extent that we’ve been able to serve a much wider community of SMEs with our personalised service, while adding four new retail outlets. This is in addition to developing a powerful online presence,” said founder and managing director, Penny Spencer whose award-winning agency has grown 400 percent in just four years. “We are extending our agreement with Sabre as a result of their proven success in delivering great value and the best tools to support our growth.”

Spencer Travel’s technology agreement incorporates industry-leading Sabre Red Workspace used by travel agents to shop, book and manage travel, together with a range of Red Apps including Clipboard, Seat Guru and Event Finder. The agency has also deployed TripCase, the popular mobile itinerary management app.
