Spherical, NYC-based full-service digital marketing agency for luxury and lifestyle hotels, announces new executive hires, Lori Kresse as its VP, Client Services & Integrated Marketing and Alex Barz as Director of Social Media. These appointments come as a result of Spherical’s continued growth working with some of the most recognized brands in the travel space, including Rosewood Hotels and Resorts, EDITION Hotels, PUBLIC Hotels, and Proper Hotels.
Lori Kresse joins Spherical after a successful career at Huge, where her role as Engagement Director was instrumental in driving client strategy and digital marketing success for brands like Canada Goose, Casper, and Google. She comes with a strong background in the intersection of luxury, travel, wellness and technology working with some of the world’s most notable brands such as Delta Air Lines, Equinox, and Marriott International. She has worked directly with global hotel portfolios for both The Ritz Carlton and Fairmont Hotels & Resorts and has driven strategy and scale in performance marketing for InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) and Hilton Worldwide.

Reporting to Kresse, Alex Barz joins Spherical’s social media department offering strategy, oversight, and direction to its roster of incredible properties. Barz joins from People Ideas & Culture where she built the social media department which specializes in paid and organic social strategy, content creation, and content management. She has managed social media campaigns in house and on the agency side for hospitality and travel brands including Morgans Hotel Group, Waldorf Astoria, Conrad Hotels & Resorts, and Victor Private Jets.
