Lake Crackenback Resort & Spa General Manager Anthony Cleary said the event has proven popular with women wanting to take their mountain biking confidence to a new skill level.

“The appeal of the event lies in the sporting and fitness elements of the event but also in the added extras like meals, yoga and a spa session,” said Mr Cleary.

The sold-out women’s mountain bike skill weekend will be held from Friday November 6 until Sunday November 8 and combines mountain bike workshops and guided rides with yoga and a pampering session in the Lake Crackenback Spa and Wellness Centre.

“Year on year the participation numbers in all events continues to grow as the region gains international attention as an adventure-sports hub,” said Mr Cleary.
