The video, that allows viewers to select their journey as the video plays, demonstrates the evolving needs of consumers as well as the travel industry’s move towards providing travellers interactive experiences.
The ground-breaking technology combines travel and music into one digital experience, giving users the opportunity to create their own storyline and video clip. The interactive film follows Skinny Living’s epic trip to Hawaii, Texas and Louisiana, and features their new song ‘Friends for Life’ as the soundtrack.
Using world-first video technology company, Wirewax, the video showcases multifaceted layers that feature episodes about each city Skinny Living has travelled to, behind the scenes footage, live performances and busking, interviews with locals, travel tips and more.
As each scene unravels, interactive hyperlinks appear inviting the viewer to explore content related to the destination including travel guides, Skinny Living’s travel videos and a look behind the scenes.
This campaign will be more than an innovative marketing tool using new technology. It will become the of its kind to connect our customers with relatable travel experiences in a genuine way.
