For the first time, the South Australian team entered the category of Technical & Creative Production: Branch Turnover >$5M after a hugely successful 2012/2013 period delivering digital, styling and design services for clients including Santos and the South Australian Tourism Commission.

For the fourth consecutive year Staging Connections Queensland has topped their state in delivering technical and creative services whilst this year is the third consecutive state win for Victoria.

Staging Connections is the only event staging organisation in Australia that is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO). As recognition for their exemplary education and training programs and their achievements within industry education, Staging Connections New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria all won the MEA state category of Education. The accolade was a testament to the success of their Trainee Program which provides the benchmark for the required knowledge and skills to successfully work in the events industry.

Tony Chamberlain, Managing Director, Staging Connections commented that the multi-state success is demonstrative of the passion, commitment and diversity of skills that the entire Staging Connections team boast.

“The key to our success really does rest in the team’s sheer expertise. Across the business they share an innate ability to look at the overall event objective and deliver on it flawlessly no matter what the event is.

“With over 750 staff located in 70 locations across the country including many high profile in-house venue partnerships, we are committed to achieving the very best in technical and creative production,” said Mr Chamberlain.

Staging Connections will vie for another state title on 7 April 2014 for the first time ever in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) State Industry Awards Dinner for Technical & Creative Production: Branch Turnover <$5M.

The winners of their respective states will contend the National MEA award for the category of Technical & Creative Production to be held at the MEA annual conference in Kuala Lumpur 14-17 May 2014.
