Adelaide’s premier conference and meeting venues, Stamford Plaza Adelaide and Stamford Grand Adelaide, have introduced new healthy menu options for corporate events.
The two five-star hotels have revamped their food offerings with a focus on healthy eating choices to support better concentration and productivity from guests at conferences, workshops and meetings.
Stamford Hotels Adelaide Area General Manager Russell Cool said the new menus were packed with nutrients rather than empty calories in response to changing industry trends.
“There has been an increasing demand from corporate guests for healthy yet filling lunch and snack options at meetings and conferences so we’ve sought to deliver just that,” Mr Cool said.
“Our chefs have devised a menu that is fresh, healthy and packed full of flavour. Even the most health conscious will be impressed with what’s on offer.”
The Stamford Plaza Adelaide menu includes salads, steamed barramundi, poached chicken and lamb fillet, as well as morning and afternoon tea snacks such as housemade granola bars, fresh fruit skewers and chicken and avocado rice paper rolls.
Grains, fruit, super foods such as kale, and herbal teas also feature on the menu.
While the Stamford Grand menu includes salads, soup, steamed Atlantic salmon, grilled chicken, slow cooked beef or lamb and a vegetable stir-fry, as well as morning and afternoon snacks such as raw strawberry cheesecake, avocado and chocolate mousse, vegan Mexican chocolate cake, fresh fruit, sushi and steamed dumplings.
So far this financial year, Stamford Plaza Adelaide has held 736 events with a total of almost 35,000 guests.
