More than $1 million has been awarded to students who have created initiatives in one of the CGI’s five core areas: education, environment and climate change, peace and human rights, poverty alleviation, and public health.

Stamford International University, a member of the Laureate International Universities network, affords students the unique opportunity to engage with global leaders through era-defining programs that give students knowledge, perspective, and a chance to improve their skills and contribute to a better world. Stamford students are the only students in Thailand to benefit from such a participatory association. Membership has inspired Stamford’s own CSR initiatives, such as “Here For Good”, Stamford’s English Teachers on Tour project which aims to provide educational opportunity to areas in need. Stamford strives to improve the quality of Thai education to meet and exceed international standards of competency and excellence.
