Starwood Hotels & Resorts Asia Pacific this year invites guests to celebrate the festive season in style.  Revelers can choose from indulgent feasts, traditional treats or get in to the spirit of giving – by dining at select restaurants with proceeds gifted to charitable causes.
Tropical Christmas at Feast Restaurant – Sheraton Fiji Resort

Be one of the first to welcome Christmas at Sheraton Fiji Resort on the picturesque tropical island.  At the resort’s signature Feast Restaurant, festive celebrations are best suited for small groups of family and friends – in a typically Fijian style.

From the show kitchen built around the restaurant’s centerpiece wood-fired oven, festive favorites such as roast turkey, baked ham and all the trimmings will be served alongside fresh seafood of crabs, prawns mussels, oysters and fish which best showcase the resort’s ocean-front location.  To evoke a real sense of Christmas, diners can enjoy Christmas carols with a glass of complimentary sparkling wine for lunch on Christmas Day.

Christmas Eve dinner at Feast Restaurant will be available 6pm to 10pm priced at F$99++ for adults and F$60++ for children.  Christmas Lunch on 25th will be served from 12 noon to 3pm, with Christmas carols from 11.30am and Santa making an appearance at 1pm, priced F$124++ for adults and F$60++ per child.

en Snow at Le Bistrot Signature Restaurant – Le Royal Méridien Shanghai

The coveted La Vie en Rose Sunday Brunch at the signature restaurant of Le Royal Méridien Shanghai, will undergo a Yuletide makeover for the festive season this year.  The contemporary restaurant with its Chef’s Taste of Discovery Stations offering international cuisine is among the City’s most decadent Sunday Brunches.  Luxury star items such as caviar, foie gras and fresh seafood are served alongside free-flow of Rosé Champagne, with a barbeque menu of grilled meats and seafood cooked to order and served by the restaurant’s waitresses, dressed in pink nurses’ outfits.

“Wok-ing in Winter Wonderland” – W Hong Kong

Staying true to its avant-garde style, W Hong Kong presents its “Wok-ing in the Winter Wonderland” menu at its Sing Yin Cantonese Dining to celebrate Christmas, Chinese style.  Paying homage to Christmas’s Western origin, the West-mix-East style set menu highlights include the restaurant’s signature dishes which utilize the gifts of the Orient, such as abalone, giant groupa and succulent crabmeat which are delicately balanced with decadent Western ingredients such as black truffles.  Conceived by international architect and interior designer Steve Leung, the restaurant evokes the unique features of Hong Kong’s electric streetscape providing diners a distinctively Hong Kong style Christmas.

The set dinner menu is available on the evenings of 24th to 26th December priced at HK$988 and an additional HK$300 with wine pairing, plus 10% service charge per person.

“The Boldest Grill” – SKIRT at W Singapore, Sentosa Cove

The Gift of Giving at La Brasserie Restaurant – Le Mérdien Pune

Christmas is a time for giving, and at Le Méridien Pune, celebrations will be underway not just for its guests, but also for those less fortunate at the non-government development organization – Mother Teresa Centre in Pune.

From 15th to 31st December, 2013, 20 Rupees from every dinner buffet served at the hotel’s all day dining La Brasserie Restaurant will be donated to the charitable cause.
