A trio of senior chefs at W Bangkok have got together, mixed it up and created three delicious salads. The result: “Chefs’ Seasonal Summer Salads”, available every day for lunch only from July to September 2015.
Executive Chef Thaneht Naovarat (Thai) along with Executive Sous Chef Steven Kim (Korean) and Chef De Cuisine Manoj Kottarathil (Indian) each have created their own ultimate summer salad. They focused on using the finest seasonal ingredients for refreshing and satisfying salads whilst taking inspiration from their own culture and nationalities. From different countries in Asia, each Chef ensures that you’ll experience diverse and vibrant tastes!
Things got hot during summer in Bangkok, but the chefs know we all want to stay looking hot after the summer too. These light yet flavorful dishes will delight the palate and at the same time help everyone stay lean and fit.
Chef’s Summer Salad Menus include:
- Chef Thaneht’s Salad: Seasonal mesclum with deep-fried silver bream scented with turmeric and accompanied by local Thai products and ingredients such as pickled lychee, okra, crispy black sticky rice and spicy mayonnaise giving his salad full of Thai flavors.
- Chef Steven’s Salad: Slow-cooked chicken breast with red cabbage, zucchini, pickled cucumber, sunflower seed, gingko, Korea’s most popular ingredient ‘red ginseng’ essence and mustard sesame dressing.
- Chef Manoj’s Salad: Grilled prawns and mango with baby spinach, mint, sweet corn, sliced orange, almonds and cumin-spiced pomegranate dressing made with traditional Indian spices.
Each cool and crisp salad is priced at THB 380++ and includes one soft drink and homemade bread.
Chefs’ Seasonal Summer Salads at The Kitchen Table, W Bangkok is available from 1 July to 30 September 2015 every day from 12 pm – 4.30 pm.
