Steak Out a New Culinary Concept at Mirage Bar & Restaurant

Calling all steak lovers! Mirage Bar & Restaurant presents a brand new Steak Butchery. Choose your favourite cut and select your own portion of premium Stockyard Beef from the succulent Gold Label Black Angus to melt-in-your-mouth Wagyu beef with two side choices. Indulge in the top quality steak with surprising value for money at Mirage!

Mirage Chef Owen Panzica handpicks premium beef cuts from Stockyard in Queensland crafting a palatable steak menu for discerning guests. Cattles from Stockyard are grain-fed developing an extra tender texture with exceptional fat marbling. Mirage also has a great selection of wines to pair with fine steaks, including Château Talbot, St. Julian 2011 (HK$ 1,700 per bottle),Antinori Tenuta Tignanello Chianti Classico 2014 (HK$ 750 per bottle) and Luis Pato Vinhas Velhas Tinto 2012 (HK$ 580 per bottle, HK$ 120 per glass).

Whet your appetite with the 200-250 days grain-fed Gold Label Black Angus Ribeye (HK$148/ 100g) , which is known for its cherry red meat colour and balanced marbling. Perfectly grilled with a crisp texture on the outside and juicy meat on the inside. It only requires basic seasoning to bring out the genuine flavour of the steak itself. The steak comes served with two side choices and will be served among the eight options available. Chef suggests roasted new potatoes and sautéed mushrooms to pair with the steak. There are four different steak sauces and we recommend the refreshing Argentinian Chimichurri sauce, which is made with various types of herbs that complements the steak perfectly to elevate the enjoyment.

Check out the flavourful Gold Label Black Angus Striploin (HK$128/100g), the popular Gold Label Black Angus Tenderloin (HK$188/100g) or the impressive Gold Label Black Angus Tomahawk Ribeye (HK$98/100g) with its extraordinary 12-inch extra-long bone, a feast for your eyes and stomach!

Alternatively, you can also go for the tantalizing 350 days grain-fed Wagyu steak. The tenderness, marbling and juiciness of the steak will surely exceed expectations. The complex texture of Flat Iron Wagyu Steak (HK$118/100g) is definitely an excellent entry level option available at amazingly reasonable prices. Be surprised with the robust and slightly nutty taste of the steak with the savory sensation of melting butter on your taste palate. Our chef’s suggestion for the two side choices are classic French fries and refreshing green salad that complement well with the grilled Wagyu steak. Looking for a more premium option? The Grade 6-7 Wagyu Stirploin Steak (HK$268/100g) is going to feast your palate with its incredible tenderness and melt-in-your-mouth sensation. It is perfectly seared with the juiciness locked in. Steak lovers will be screaming for more than one portion!

All steaks are served with two side choices with eight different options including mashed potatoes, sweet potato fries, roasted garlic and herb tomatoes, green salad and more. Four different sauces including Béarnaise, Sherry Wine Gravy and Garlic Aioli are available for you to pick and pair with your favourite cut. Extra choice of sides is priced at HK$58 each.
