Steve Irwin Day: Sprout partners with Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors

Mobile technology accessories retailer, Sprout Inc has partnered with Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors in time for Steve Irwin Day, today – 15 November, to raise funds for the protection of injured, threatened or endangered wildlife.

Sprout Inc have released an exclusive range of phone covers featuring spectacular photographs of animals at Australia Zoo. Under the partnership, $10 from every online sale of the Sprout covers will go to Wildlife Warriors.

To promote the partnership, Sprout are running an Facebook competition to win an iPhone 5S with a Sprout Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors Case and a VIP tour of Australia Zoo at Beerwah on the Sunshine Coast.

“At Sprout we are passionate about protecting the environment and wildlife so we are proud to partner with Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors to make a difference to injured, threatened or endangered wildlife. With over 10,000 species currently on the critically endangered and endangered species lists it is vital we do everything we can to protect the world’s delicate ecosystem, including all the animals that live within it,” said Maxine Horne, CEO of Vita Group, parent company of Sprout.

Terri Irwin, co-founder of Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors said, “Since our beginnings in 2002, Wildlife Warriors have invested over $20 million towards wildlife conservation projects and have contributed to the protection of six species in nine countries outside Australia. The Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital has treated almost 490 native species. Sprout’s support is vital to helping this work continue.”
