STR Global Releases Preliminary May 2015 Data For London

STR Global’s preliminary May 2015 data for London, England, indicates declines in two of the three key performance metrics.http://www.angsana.com/en/ap-thailand-phuket/discover-value/adventureBased on daily data from May, London reported:

  • increases in supply (+3.3 percent) and demand (+4.1 percent);
  • a 0.8-percent increase in occupancy to 85.0 percent;
  • a 10.8-percent decrease in average daily rate to GBP125.91; and
  • a 10.1-percent decrease in revenue per available room to GBP107.04.

London’s occupancy level reached 85.0 percent with events such as the HSBC Sevens World Series and the RHS Chelsea Flower Show providing a slight impact.
