Throughout the updated guide, meeting planners will also find plenty of options to choose from among the more established venues. Floating Island Convention (FIC), for example, is a popular riverside event space located directly on the Hangang River within the Some Sevit complex. The much-publicized Dongdaemun Design Plaza (ddp) has also become a highly in-demand facility, in particular for design-related shows and gatherings since its opening in 2014. Entertainment complex Lotte World, meanwhile, which houses one of the world’s largest amusement parks, has become a popular incentive destination for corporate groups and even a dining venue for international conferences.
