Grand Hotel Tremezzo is offering two fabulous additional dining experiences for guests to make the most of the warm weather months at the lake.
A T Pizza Gourmet Party is held every Friday, Saturday and Monday evening, from 7pm to 10.30pmin the T Garden. Guests can enjoy a delicious appetiser of leeks and potatoes topped with burrata accompanied with rosemary pizza sticks, and following a tasting board with your choice of four different pizzas such as a ‘Tagliere of Mediterranean Pizzas’ featuring buffalo mozzarella, Napoli style, tuna and onions and Marina style pizza, or a ‘Tagliere of Gourmet Pizzas’ including vegetable confit, Zola cheese, nuts and pears, prawn tartare, truffle and spinach pizza. For dessert, there is a choice of refreshing sorbet, sliced fruit or fruit tart. As a complement, you can sip Italian bubbles such as Bellavista Franciacorta Rosè, French bubbles such as Pommery Rosé, Italian white, red and rose wines. Candles, lights and musical entertainment by The Grand’s music concierge add to the fun and atmosphere of T Pizza events.
Also not-to-be-missed are Sunset Beach Dinners held every day from 7pm to 10.30pm and centred around a new Onfalos grill set on a circular platform at the T Beach. Light fresh spelt salad, celery, octopus and grapefruit, is highlighted on the menu as a palate cleansing starter. Flavourful main courses include superb grilled dishes such as fillet of veal, fillet of seabass or squid with balsamic vinegar, fennel and celery. Each is accompanied with grilled vegetables, and a dressing such as aioli or mango and lime. Dessert choices include ice cream, sliced fruit or freshly baked tart. Adding a festive note to the beach dinners, a delicious choice of punches is served such as ‘Purple Temptation’, violate liqueur, rosemary infusion, jasmine tea and cranberry juice and ‘Enjoy the Sunset’, raspberry puree, green apple, cranberry juice, fresh orange juice. The T Beach is enlivened with candles, lights, lanterns and musical entertainment by the hotel’s music concierge.
