The summer flight schedule from Berlin is varied, with destinations for holidays, business trips, summer holidays with family and city trips for couples. A total of 86 airlines will connect Berlin and Brandenburg with 183 destinations in 57 countries. The summer flight schedule will take effect on Sunday, 31 March 2019.

Berlin Tegel
Eight long-haul connections to seven destinations in North America and Asia are on Tegel’s flight schedule this summer. In addition, there are 7 further intercontinental destinations, 102 European destinations and 10 domestic German connections. A total of 65 airlines will be flying from Berlin Tegel to 127 destinations in 45 countries. The top destinations from Tegel are Munich, Frankfurt and Cologne in Germany and Zurich, Palma de Mallorca and Vienna in Europe.
American Airlines will be connecting the capital region with Philadelphia in the USA from 8 June to 28 September 2019. The route will be operated four times a week. This service from Berlin to the East Coast of the US will run on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Delta Air Lines will fly direct from Berlin to New York (JFK) every day starting on 2 May 2019. The route will be operated this year until the flight schedule changes at the end of October.
Air Canada Rouge is increasing its range of flights. The airline will fly to Toronto four times a week starting on 4 June 2019. From 23 June 2019 (until 16 September), the service will be extended to six flights per week. The airline will then fly non-stop across the Atlantic from Berlin Tegel every day except on Saturdays. Travellers wishing to experience the Indian summer in the heart of Canada can use the non-stop connection until 13 October. The airline will then resume flying four times a week.
Ryanair is taking over Laudamotion’s flight offer at the start of the summer flight schedule, opening its second Berlin base at Berlin Tegel Airport. Laudamotion connections to Kefalonia (Greece), Alicante (Spain), Naples (Italy), Paphos (Cyprus) and Rhodes (Greece) will continue to be operated. At the same time, the Irish airline is expanding its range of services and will now be flying from Tegel to Alghero (Italy, twice a week), Luxembourg (four times a week), Lamezia Terme (Italy, twice a week) and Krakow (Poland, daily). In total, the airline will be flying to 19 destinations from Berlin Tegel.
Starting on 2 April, the British airline easyJet will be flying to Gdansk three times a week on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The city on the Polish Baltic coast will thus be directly accessible from Berlin again. Zadar and Dubrovnik in Croatia are two more new summer destinations in the airline’s flight schedule for Tegel. Both will be served from 2 April. The airline will be flying to Zadar up to three times a week and to Dubrovnik up to four times a week. easyJet will be flying to the Greek island of Kos starting on 4 May, then also up to three times a week. Sylt is the airline’s sixth domestic German connection from Berlin. The airline will be flying to the island in the North Sea every Saturday starting on 4 May.
Vueling will be gradually increasing the number of flights operated on the Berlin Tegel – Barcelona route from once a day to up to eleven times a week. Starting in April, the capital of Catalonia will be served twice a day on Fridays and Sundays. In May, a further round will be added on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Eurowings will be flying up to four times a day from Berlin Tegel to Munich starting on 1 May. The airline will now be offering five domestic flights from Tegel. Sarajevo is also new to the Eurowings flight schedule from Berlin Tegel. The capital of Bosnia-Herzegovina will be served twice a week on Mondays and Fridays starting on 3 June.
Sunexpress will be flying once a week to Dalaman in the Turkish Aegean starting on 4 May. On 6 July, Ankara will be added as a new destination, also operated to on Saturdays. As in recent years, the number of flights to the two popular holiday destinations Antalya and Izmir will start to increase significantly in July. Both destinations will then be served up to twice a day from Berlin. In the summer months of July and August, Sunexpress will return with flights to Venice in Italy. The airline will operate to the lagoon city from Tegel on Sundays starting on 7 July 2019.
Berlin Schönefeld
The flight schedule from Schönefeld offers a wide range of travel options for holidaymakers and business travellers. A total of 32 airlines will be flying from Schönefeld this summer to 9 intercontinental and 111 European destinations in 45 countries. In Germany, Berlin is connected to Cologne-Bonn Airport from SXF. The most popular destinations from Schönefeld this summer are Antalya, Barcelona and Palma de Mallorca.
In Schönefeld, easyJet is adding Seville to its flight schedule as a destination in southern Spain. The connection between this city, which is also considered the birthplace of flamenco, and Berlin will be operated twice a week starting on 31 March.
Ryanair is also significantly expanding its flight schedule at Schönefeld Airport and will be connecting Berlin with numerous new destinations. From 1 April 2019, the airline will fly twice a week to Lappeenranta in Finland. Tallinn in Estonia and Brno in the Czech Republic will follow a day later. Both destinations will be served three times a week. Starting on 3 April 2019, the Irish airline’s aircraft will also take off three times a week in the direction of Banja Luka in Bosnia-Herzegovina. The winter connections to Edinburgh (Great Britain), Faro (Portugal) and Marrakesh (Morocco) will continue to be operated in the summer flight schedule.
Wizz Air is expanding its flight schedule from Berlin Schönefeld with another destination in Eastern Europe. From 2 July, Varna in Bulgaria will be on the Hungarian airline’s schedule twice a week. In addition, the number of flights operating on two further routes will be increased by one flight every week each due to high demand. Kutaissi in Georgia will be served four times a week in future. Wizz Air will be flying from Schönefeld to Chişinău in the Republic of Moldova three times a week.
