Summer season special at award-winning Yamazato

The award-winning signature Japanese restaurant Yamazato celebrates summer 2014 with a new selection of seasonal à la carte dishes available for lunch and dinner from 8 to 30 June 2014.

The restaurant, an integral part of The Okura Prestige Bangkok hotel on Wireless Road, has added summer seasonal favourites such as hairy crab, sea eel, rock oysters and yellowtail fish. All dishes are prepared and presented exquisitely under the watchful eye of Yamazato Master Chef Shigeru Hagiwara. Mouthwatering menu include Nama Iwagaki – rock oyster with citrus and lime sauce and rock salt, Kani Korokke Mentaiko Cream – deep fried crab with cod roe cream and salmon roe, Hamo Yanagawa Nabe – sea eel unnamed (21)bolied in soy sauce with egg, Hamachi Carpaccio – young yellowtail carpaccio and much more.

Chef Hagiwara says,” These new dishes are traditional summer-time favourites throughout Japan. As always, we like to share the very best of Japanese cuisine with our local and international clientele in Bangkok.”

Prices for individual dishes on the new à la carte menus start at Baht 350++.

Yamazato is located on the 24th Floor of The Okura Prestige Bangkok. Open daily for lunch and dinner from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm and 6:00 pm to 10:30 pm.

All prices are subject to 10% service charge and 7% government tax.
