SUNSET ROYAL BEACH RESORT announced today that it has received a TripAdvisor® Certificate of Excellence award.

The accolade, which honors hospitality excellence, is given only to establishments that consistently achieve outstanding traveler reviews on TripAdvisor, and is extended to qualifying businesses worldwide. Only the top-performing 10 percent of businesses listed on TripAdvisor receive this prestigious award.

To qualify for a Certificate of Excellence, businesses must maintain an overall rating of four or higher, out of a possible five, as reviewed by travelers on TripAdvisor, and must have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least one year. Additional criteria include the volume of reviews received within the last 12 months.

SUNSET ROYAL BEACH RESORT is pleased to receive a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence, “It is with great pride and honor that we receive this Certificate that reflects our commitment and our Quality Policy,” said German Fayad, General Director of Sunset World Resorts and Vacation Experiences.

“We’re delighted to celebrate the success of hospitality businesses around the world, from Auckland to San Francisco, Hong Kong to Paris, which are consistently offering travellers an outstanding customer experience,” said Stephen Kaufer, President and CEO, TripAdvisor. “The Certificate of Excellence award provides top performing establishments the recognition they deserve, based on feedback from those who matter most – their customers.”

TripAdvisor was nominated number four in top travel sites in the U.S. (Experian Hitwise, March 2013). PhocusWright research shows that 96% of users agree that TripAdvisor hotel reviews “help make better informed decisions.” 85% of U.S. travelers used the internet as travel planning sources (Traveler’s Road to Decision 2011). Initial ideas and advice for travel purchase decisions are obtained through personal relationships and trusted media. (Ypartnership/Harrison Group 2011 Portrait of American Travelers).
