SureSave appoints new National Sales Director

SureSave, one of Australia’s leading travel insurance providers, is pleased to announce the appointment of Talbot Henry as the company’s new National Sales Director.

This newly created role will see Henry responsible for driving the overall sales growth of the travel insurance provider, as well as leading product and market development of the SureSave portfolio.

Michael Callaghan, Executive General Manager at SureSave, says Henry has an extensive background in the retail sales industry, particularly when building strong commercial relationships with retail partners.

“Henry’s appointment has come at an exciting time for SureSave.  We are currently investing in a company-wide initiative to provide our agent partners with a range of new innovations.  We are looking at our technology services and the implementation of improved tools.  Henry’s experience in launching new products and cultivating strategic partnerships will be of great asset to us over the coming years,” says Callaghan.

Following six years at L’Oreal, where Henry was responsible for sales and marketing for a range of high profile, luxury global brands, Henry then held the position of Sales Director at HiLife Health & Beauty in Sydney.  During this time, he used his retail experience to introduce new brands and secure new partnerships, ultimately growing the business by over 50%.  The four year old company was awarded the Number 1 position in the BRW fastest-growing companies in 2012, turning over $62 million.

Henry looks forward to embracing SureSave’s new strategic direction.

“Joining SureSave at such a pivotal time is extremely exciting.  Whilst I don’t come from a travel insurance background, my experience will be well placed to implement the new changes.  I look forward to working closely with the team at SureSave and getting to know our agent partners,” says Henry.
