This week, SureSave’s National Sales Director, Talbot Henry, will embark on an adventure of a life-time as he attempts to swim solo from Europe to Africa in support of the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia. The cross-continental journey from Spain to Morocco, via the Strait of Gibraltar, has been completed by less than 500 people and only 16 Australians.
In preparation for the swim Talbot said:
“At SureSave we are passionate about travel – we live and breathe it. Working in travel has given me the inspiration to always seek adventure. There are so many wonderful and exciting things to experience and I am thrilled to be able to combine two things I love, swimming and travelling, while also supporting a charity that is very close to my heart, and the hearts of so many Australians.”
The Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia is dedicated to raising awareness, promoting education of the Australian community, funding world leading, innovative research, and supporting men and their families affected by prostate cancer.
“In Australia, prostate cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in men1. I am determined to give this endurance swim all I’ve got to support the Prostrate Cancer Foundation of Australia as it works towards preventing prostate cancer and hopefully someday, finding a cure. With already over $8,000 raised for the cause and an aim to hit $10,000, it’s heartening to know how many people cherish this cause as much as I do.”
SureSave, is one of Australia’s leading and insurance providers, offering travel assistances to travellers around the world, keeping them informed and covered through a range of products sold through travel agents.
