GOLD Coast accommodation provider Holiday Holiday is gearing up for a bumper season with apartments at 100 per cent occupancy from next week as interstate visitors flock to Surfers Paradise for school holidays.

Holiday Holiday director Lee Lee Goh said all 70 of the luxury Surfers Paradise apartments managed by the company were fully booked during the two weeks of interstate school holidays, from Saturday, September 23 to Sunday, October 8.

“We are at 100 per cent occupancy across the board from Thursday and Friday next week, with most of our guests joining us from NSW and Victoria,” Ms Goh said.

“This is the start of a very busy season of outstanding bookings for us, as many families come to experience the Gold Coast’s fantastic beach culture and sunshine, and also make the most of a great range of festivals and events happening in the city over the next couple of months.”

Holiday Holiday family apartments are available at some of the Gold Coast’s most prestigious addresses, including Circle on Cavill, Chevron Renaissance, H Residences, and Soul, all centrally located within the family entertainment mecca of Surfers Paradise and just a stone’s throw from the world-renowned beach.

Ms Goh said events and attractions including Surfers Paradise Kids Week, from September 23 to 29, and the upcoming GC 600 in October, were established annual highlights appealing to a wide cross-section of visitors to the Gold Coast.

“The Kids Week initiative in Surfers Paradise during the school holidays is very popular with interstate families, and we have guests who were so impressed with Kids Week last year that they are returning to stay with us again to take advantage of the free attractions on offer these holidays,” Ms Goh said.

“Many of our bookings are from repeat guests who are familiar with the high quality of the friendly service we provide.

“They know they can expect a high standard of cleanliness in all our apartments, and also our friendly staff are always here to help make their holiday a special time for all the family to enjoy,” she said.

Last month, Holiday Holiday launched the innovative Unplugged family holiday experience, offering thoughtfully appointed kids’ rooms to help families reconnect by taking time out from technology for quality interaction and traditional play.

Ms Goh said the initiative took the stress out of planning holidays and had proved particularly appealing to busy families by providing everything necessary for parents and their children to settle straight into spending time together and exploring one of the world’s most spectacular destinations.

Available at selected apartments in the heart of Australia’s world-famous holiday playground, the Unplugged kids’ room package includes toys, books and games to keep little ones engaged when not out and about.

While all Holiday Holiday apartments were near capacity this week, Ms Goh said some flexibility was available to squeeze in last-minute guests.
