Suspected ‘mile-high’ romp caught on camera

July 11, 2017 Headline News No Comments Email Email

A very short clip posted on Facebook which appears to show a woman and a man leaving an aircraft toilet, one after the other – the man with a knowing look – has gathered over 9 million views.

David Eve filmed the pair during a flight from London Heathrow to Miami last week, on 4 July 2017, American Independence Day.

“Wait, was, wasn’t there just two people in there?” Eve wrote on Facebook. “Naughty Americans!”http://www.granmonte.com/

Virgin Atlantic posted Eve’s video on its Facebook page, commenting “We’re pretty sure that’s our plane! The mood lighting certainly put a smile on their faces… #smilehighclub”

The video had garnered 8.7 million views by last night. Whatever the couple were doing (if they were doing anything at all), they were a lot more discreet about it than a couple on Ryanair last month, who (as one news report put it) “joined the ‘mile-high club’ without using the restroom”.

On the Ryanair flight from Manchester to Ibiza, the couple decided to have sex in their seat. It was filmed by another passenger (male) who seemed to think it was hilarious, while another passenger (female) reportedly asked to change seats.

While a Ryanair spokesman gave the Daily Mail the usual line about the company not tolerating “unruly, disruptive or inappropriate behavior”, cabin crew did not reprimand the couple at the time, according to reports. Perhaps they were looking the other way.
