Nusa Dua, Bali, Indonesia, July 2018… The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali is excited to welcome Mimin Mintarsih on board as Executive Pastry Chef. She has come to Bali direct from a three-year stint as Executive Pastry Chef with Hilton Dead Sea Resort & Spa Jordan.

Born and educated in Sukabumi – Indonesia, Mimin has spent most of her career working at luxury properties in the Middle East. She brings 18 years of creative experience to her newest role, specifically in the highly skilled areas of baking and pastry production. As a culinary artisan, Mimin is expected to take the desserts and other baked goods on offer at the resort’s distinctive dining venues to whole new level. Her feminine eye for detail, commitment to team work and refusal to accept second best are all defining chara cteristics that will serve her well.  With a passion for pushing boundaries, Mimin will be looking to revitalize the whole afternoon tea experience currently available daily at the Lobby Bar & Lounge. She is eager to familiarize herself with the island of Bali and use her findings as a source of inspiration.
