Swiss-Belhotel International Grows Indonesia Portfolio With The Launch Of Swiss-Belhotel Balikpapan In East Kalimantan

Asian hotel management powerhouse Swiss-Belhotel International Hotels and Resorts has extended its dominant position in the booming Indonesian hospitalty market with the launch of Swiss-Belhotel Balikpapan. 
Illustrious in Indonesia: Swiss-Belhotel Balikpapan is the latest of the company's branches with the fast-growing Asian hotel management company extends its portfolio to more than 120 hotels and resorts across the region. Located in the heart of the city in Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, the four-star property is the 34th hotel operated by Swiss-Belhotel International in Indonesia and further demonstrates the impressive and sustained expansion of Asia’s fastest growing hotel group.

The new hotel launch brings the Hong Kong-based group’s portfolio to more than 120 hotels and resorts ranging from 2-star to 5-star classifications across Asia and the Middle East. Indonesia is its largest market where it has a additional 56 other hotels under development and where it has been voted Indonesia’s Leading Global Hotel Chain at the Indonesian Travel and Tourism Awards for the past three years.

Leading the opening ceremony of Swiss-Belhotel Balikpapan was the Chairman of PT Hasta Kreasi Mandiri, Mr. Fadjraa Oemar, and Mr. Emmanuel Guillard Swiss-Belhotel International Senior Vice President for Operations and Development – Indonesia, Malaysia & Vietnam, also accompanied by government officials, travel agents and corporate clients.

Targeting business travellers, Swiss-Belhotel Balikpapan is conveniently situated a short distance from Sepinggan International Airport as well as top commercial hubs within the city centre. Likewise, leisure travellers can take advantage of a mall located just beside the hotel, which affords easy access to shopping, dining and entertainment venues.

Swiss-Belhotel Balikpapan will feature 230 well-appointed guestrooms and 30 spacious apartments which will be completed by the end of December this year.
