unnamed (5)The long-held ambition of leading global hospitality management company Swiss-Belhotel International to expand into Europe has been realised following the rebranding of the Grand Hotel Dimyat in Bulgaria to Swiss-Belhotel Varna.

The 74-room four-star Swiss-Belhotel Varna is located in the heart of the Black Sea coastal city next to the beautiful Sea Garden public park, 500-metres from the beach, 20-minutes from international airport and offers stunning panoramic sea views.

The hotel is further highlighted by wellness facilities showcased at Maya Spa which include a 12-metre indoor pool, five treatment rooms, a hydrology zone with sauna and ice therapies, a salt room to relax and de-stress, a gym and a series of mud and salt therapies unique to the Black Sea area.

“Our entry into the highly competitive European market marks another exciting chapter in the Swiss-Belhotel International story,” said Swiss-Belhotel International Chairman and President, Mr. Gavin M. Faull.

“We started in Asia, expanded to Australia and New Zealand, and more recently have grown our presence in the Middle East for a group-wide management portfolio of 135 hotels, resorts and projects worldwide,” he said.

“The time is now right for the next phase in our growth strategy and we look forward to bringing our unique commitment of passion and professionalism in hospitality to Europe with Swiss-Belhotel Varna in Bulgaria.”

The management agreement follows the opening of its European headquarters in Greece last year as Swiss-Belhotel International looks to expand its global footprint into a fourth region of the world after Asia, the Pacific and the Middle East.

Swiss-Belhotel International has moved to upgrade the standards of Swiss-Belhotel Varna, implementing its renowned service training programmes and developing high-quality culinary concepts in the restaurant, meeting and banquet spaces.

“We need to be recognised as the best hotel in town. This is our goal and I am confident that we are on the right track to achieving this,” said Mr. Faull.
