Sydney Airport has celebrated the opening of a brand new fashion and lifestyle emporium at its T2 Domestic terminal.

StudioT2 is an innovative new retail concept from well known travel retailer Nuance Australia, bringing together some of Australia’s most popular brands in one conveniently located, easy to browse store at Sydney Airport’s T2 Domestic terminal.

StudioT2 houses an array of cosmetics, fragrance, technology and sunglass brands previously found only in Australia’s major department stores, giving time-poor travellers an additional opportunity to buy their favourite brands while ‘on the go’.

The new concept store is part of Sydney Airport’s long-term vision for T2, which includes the arrival of a range of food, fashion and lifestyle retailers, designed to improve choice and convenience for domestic travellers.

Sydney Airport welcomes the following brands at StudioT2:

  • Technology – Sony, Apple, Beats by Dr Dre, Bose, Canon, Nikon, GoPro;
  • Fragrances – Marc Jacobs, Roberto Cavalli, Chloe, Dior, DKNY, Zegna, Paco Rabanne, Thierry Mugler;
  • Cosmetics – MAC, Napoleon Perdis, Dermalogica, Benefit, Grown Alchemist, OPI, Clarins, Jurlique, Clinique, Lab Series
  • Sunglasses – Oakley, Ray Ban, Carrera, Maui Jim, Prada, Gucci, Dior and Tom Ford.

Many of these brands, including MAC and Benefit – whose offering includes the company’s popular Brow Bar with no appointments needed – are now available to domestic travellers at Sydney Airport for the first time. MAC, Napoleon Perdis and Benefit have beauty advisers onhand to provide makeovers and beauty advice to travellers, with bestselling and the latest launch fragrances from leading brands also available.

Sony and Apple has on display the latest models from their range of tablets, readers and cameras in engaging and interactive play tables, supported by expert staff. StudioT2 also features a large selection of GoPro action cameras and accessories.

“StudioT2’s arrival highlights Sydney Airport’s commitment to creating an exceptional experience for travellers. By introducing such well-known brands to the domestic terminal, Sydney Airport is providing business travellers and holidaymakers with even more choice, value and convenience at T2,” Sydney Airport General Manager Retail, Andrew Gardiner, said.

“We believe the joy of travel begins at the airport and with more people passing through T2 than ever before, we are focused on adding many more highly coveted brands to the retail offering to ensure we continue to innovate and evolve in line with our customer expectations,” he added.

“At StudioT2 we are pioneering new and interactive retail concepts based on what our shoppers want, including experiential zones where passengers can discover the latest technology from leading brands or get a beauty treatment while they wait for their flight,” Nuance Australia CEO, Philippe Boyer, said.

“StudioT2 mixes the latest technology, hottest sunglass brands and of course the best and most popular beauty brands in Australia today to deliver an offer tailor-made for T2 Domestic passengers. With over 30 brands under one roof there’s something for everyone.”
