Sydney Airport To Launch Australia’s First Electric Airport Bus

On behalf of Sydney Airport Managing Director and CEO Kerrie Mather, I am pleased to invite you to a special media launch of Sydney Airport’s new electric bus – the first electric bus to go into operation at an Australian airport.

Details of the event are below:

Date: Wednesday 31 August

Time: 10.15am arrival for a 10.30am sharp commencement. Event will conclude at approximately 11.15am

Location: Blu Emu Car Park, Ross Smith Avenue, Sydney Airport

Directions:

By car: Enter the Blu Emu Car Park via the main entrance on Ross Smith Avenue. Turn left after the entrance and proceed to the far western sector of the car park – the event venue will be located adjacent to Bus Stop ‘E’ (Echidna). Ample free parking will be available (please pull a ticket at the entrance, you will not be charged at exit). Map attached.

By taxi: Alight from your taxi outside the main entrance of the Blu Emu Car Park. Please proceed through the car park gates: a blue Sydney Airport minibus departing from the main gate lounge (‘The Nest’) will transport you to the event venue. Please arrive at the car park entrance no late than 10.15am for the minibus.
