Sydney Airport has welcomed Joe & The Juice, a conceptual juice bar and café hailing from Copenhagen, to the T2 casual dining precinct as part of the transformation of the airport’s food and beverage offering, enhancing value and choice.
Sydney Airport is the first to launch the brand in Australia, enabling consumers to enjoy the award-winning concept which serves creatively prepared fruit and vegetable juice combinations, gourmet made-to-order sandwiches and a signature organic coffee blend.
Joe & The Juice showcases its unique juices using locally sourced ingredients. Heartbeet is a combination of avocado, beetroot, pineapple, banana and apple, while the Energizer is a refreshing red grapefruit, ginger and apple mix, and Prince of Green contains spinach, pineapple and apple to boost wellbeing pre-flight.
Founded in 2002, Joe & The Juice is the brainchild of Chief Executive Officer Kaspar Basse, who envisioned a brand with a nutritious product offering delivered in stimulating surroundings. What began as a destination bar in Copenhagen has now achieved a loyal following with more than 130 sites worldwide.
“Our bespoke concept is unlike anything Australia has experienced and we’re very proud to be launching two stores in such a dynamic environment as Sydney Airport,” Mr Basse said.
The new offering at Australia’s busiest terminal complements the new food partnerships recently unveiled, including high-profile burger brand Chur Burger by renowned chef Warren Turnbull, the Lorna Jane Active Living Room by fitness guru Lorna Jane showcasing the first yoga room at an Australian airport and new healthy eating concept SumoSalad Green Label.
Joe & The Juice was also recently announced to join the new City View premium dining precinct at Sydney Airport’s T1 terminal alongside The Bistro by Wolfgang Puck, Benny Burger by Shannon Bennett and popular local eatery Kitchen by Mike. City View will deliver the best of global and local brands within one precinct.
“Sydney Airport is thrilled to be the first to bring the unique brand of Joe & The Juice to Australia. The new offering will provide customers with an exciting juice option delivered in a vibrant fashion, perfect for a pre-flight pick me up,” Sydney Airport General Manager Retail, Glyn Williams said.
“We’re transforming the food and beverage offering across Sydney Airport to deliver greater choice and value, while also ensuring our customers can access a great range of healthy options.”
