Sydney Santa Spectacular – The Coolest Place to Beat the Heat

December 15, 2017 Whats On No Comments Email Email

With heatwave conditions set to hit Sydney tomorrow and this weekend, the coolest place to beat the heat is Australia’s biggest Christmas festival – the Sydney Santa Spectacular – with ice skating, live snowfall and feasts of frosty festive fun.

Bringing the North Pole to Rosehill Gardens Racecourse until December 27, the winter wonderland extravaganza boasts one of Australia’s largest portable ice-skating rinks, an enchanted winter forest with live snowfall, toboggan rides, Santa meet-and-greets and a huge selection of silly season rides and activities.

Off the ice, the Sydney Santa Spectacular houses a 15 metre charity Christmas tree for the Sydney Children’s Hospital, Australia’s only double decker carousel, live caroling, roving elves, reindeer ride-on training stables, ginger bread and cookie decorating workshops, as and well as a huge range of unlimited showride favourites.

“We wanted to bring a Christmas festival to Sydney on the scale as some of the big international Christmas experiences. We’ve created a white Christmas at home in the hot Aussie summer and added some uniquely Australian touches as well,” said Jade EvansCo-founder/owner of Sydney Santa Spectacular.
