The event is open to members and non-members – all are welcome to register. See  http://www.sydney.skalaustralia.travel/events.asp?id=511 or contact Diane Butler at Tourism Ireland on (02) 9964 6904 for more information.

Prizes are also being sought. If any business would like to donate a prize for the raffle or silent auction – please contact Mike Lillie sydneyskal@bigpond.com. Wine, travel, accommodation, vouchers, advertising space, subscriptions – all will be gratefully received.

Sydney SKAL membership is also now open for anyone interested in joining SKAL for 2014.

SKAL encourages managers involved in the sales and marketing within any of the tourism and travel sectors to come along.

“Those who haven’t been to a SKAL networking function in a while will notice a change,” says Bob Lunnon, this year’s president.

“The Sydney SKAL committee has worked tirelessly to provide more value for members with a line-up of guest speakers during 2013  who included Rod McGeoch, John King, Geoff Dixon and Perry Hobson. Speakers are already booked in for 2014, including well-known media personalities and industry stalwarts, which will provide members a meaningful time whilst also having the ability to network with other managers within the industry.”
