Sydney-Suva Launch Date Revealed with Exclusive Sale Fares

Fiji Airways, Fiji’s national airline, has today announced that that they will be flying direct from Sydney-Suva weekly from Monday 2nd May. To celebrate they are offering exclusive Sydney to Suva launch fares from $499 (AUD) return on sale until 6th April.

These new flights will allow Aussies greater connectivity to Suva, Fiji’s capital, Pacific Harbour, the adventure capital of Fiji and the beautiful tropical outer islands of Beqa, Laucala and Vatulale. The new route will also allow much more ease and convenience for those travelling for business, visiting family or holidaying in Fiji in this region.

Stefan Pichler, Fiji Airways Managing Director and CEO commented: “We’re excited about the introduction of this new service, which will allow Australian travellers to further explore and experience all that Fiji has to offer. The introduction of the direct Sydney to Suva flight will open up tourism for Suva, and its surrounding islands. The new service is a clear demonstration of our desire to grow our network, and boost Fijian tourism and economy.”

From May 2nd 2014, Fiji Airways will offer twice-weekly direct flights between Sydney to Suva, operated by its B737-700 aircraft. The direct services will operate on Mondays and Fridays, with a morning departure from Suva (10.15am FJT) and an afternoon departure from Sydney (2.20pm AEST).

Flights are on sale now and end on Monday 6th April or until sold out. The $499 fares are valid for travel between the following periods only: 2nd May to 19th June 2014.
