Promoting Taiwan as a shining destination among Asia for meeting and incentive travel, Taiwan Tourism Bureau once again organized a strong MICE team to participate in AIME in Melbourne, Australia, February 23-24, 2016.
Exhibitors including Taiwan Convention & Exhibition Association, Taiwanlook DMC, Grand Hyatt Taipei, Westin Taipei, Courtyard by Marriot Taipei, and China Airline.
As estimated, with the rapid growth of Asia MICE market, the inquiries of buyers to Taiwan increased much more than 2015, and most of them showed specific interests in Taiwan market. For example, Kiwanis International had already asked the proposal for venue and hotels in Taipei for their 2021International Convention and now heading to next step. “10 years ago, we had been to Taipei for our international convention, it was a great memory, so we take Taipei as our priority for 2021 and really looking forward to it.” said Michael Downs, the conventions and meetings director from Kiwanis.
What’s more, the Infinitus (China) Company is going to take 6,000 people to Taiwan in this April, 2016. The most interesting part is they will have their team building at the central of Taiwan for cycling along one of “10 Breathtaking Cycling Routes” around the world by CNN at Sun Moon Lake.
On the other hand, intending to share multi-culture of Taiwanese cuisine with visitors all over the world to experience Taiwan as the world’s “Food Paradise,” Taiwan Tourism Bureau provided famous traditional snack “Gua Bao” in the first-day show. This fabulous delicious simple gourmet was ranked as one of “40 Taiwanese foods can’t live without” by CNN, and successfully won the heart of buyers and visitors at AIME 2016.
With more and more incentive travels and conferences taking place in Taiwan, Taiwan is there for all to see its hospitality, generosity, beautiful sceneries, convenient transportation systems and wellfunctioned MICE facilities, being undoubtedly the best meeting place one can’t miss in Asia.
