Taiwan Tourism Bureau WYSTC Delegation 2013

For many years the Taiwan Tourism Bureau has worked to promote youth travel to the country under the slogan Time for Taiwan.

In order to increase awareness among travelers all of the world, the Taiwan Youth Hostel Association (TYHA) has been entrusted to go Sydney, Australia for an international conference which will be an exciting opportunity to promote youth travel to Taiwan on the world stage.

The World Youth and Student Travel Conference (WYSTC) is an essential global youth travel image002industry event to forge international partnerships and develop access to new markets. In 2013, Mr. Ming Lang Yeh (President of TYHA) represented the Taiwan Tourism Bureau as leader of the delegation with representatives from the Taiwan Tourism Bureau, Youth Development Administration, Ministry of Education, Golden Foundation Tours Corp, Zion Tour, Sen Travel, International Education Exchange (IEE) and the Chinese Culture University which will depart for Sydney on September 15th and return on September 21st. With sponsorship from the Taiwan Tourism Bureau, the Taiwanese delegation will have the opportunity to present on September 18th to an audience of over 500 participants consisting of travel agents from all of world, as well as international youth travelers and students. This event will combine with the Moon Festival to serve as the primary marketing strategy to create and shape a unique image for Taiwan’s tourism industry.

The Taiwan Tourism Bureau has worked so hard to promote youth travel in Taiwan. The aim of the delegation this year is to introduce a fascinating travel experience and a friendly environment where young people can travel around Taiwan in various ways. The delegation hope to accomplish their goal under the slogan Taiwan, the heart of Asia and Time for Taiwan to further create Taiwan to be a new option to travel for the youth.
