Taste Of Islands At Sukun Restaurant

Sukun Restaurant at Alaya Resort Kuta presents taste of three islands in Indonesia. The dishes form the three islands in Indonesia are coming from North Sulawesi, the Manadonese Woku Fish Curry, a traditional spicy stewed fish fillet would be the right choice for seafood lover. Then the most popular Beef Rendang from West Sumatera; beef chunks cooked in spicy coconut milk with grilled rice and cassava leaves. Last but not least, an authentic Balinese food Ayam Guling; a Balinese roasted spring chicken with yellow rice and condiments. A specialty of home cooking by our Executive Chef Made Ardika, expressing the great balanced between traditional and contemporer flavour.

Sukun Restaurant and Bar is a casual open-plan dining venue next to the lobby that overlooks the pool. It has a laid-back summer vibe designed by Made Wijaya featuring fun wall cut-outs, colourful mosaic tiles and a sky-inspired ceiling fitted with quirky light fixtures. There is space for up to 152 guests with clusters of designer table settings arranged for couples as well as groups. It celebrates the deverse flavours of the Indonesian archipelago with a menu driven by island-fresh produce and seasonal specialties. Open daily from 7am to 11pm.
